A mistake by Ticketmaster on Sunday allowed people to buy up all the tickets to the Inaugural Ball and parade before they were even supposed to go on sale. The Presidential Inaugural Committee had set aside ball tickets for the public that could be purchased for $60 each and tapped Ticketmaster to coordinate the sale, beginning Monday. But Ticketmaster started the sale early, sending out emails with purchasing information on Sunday night -- not only for the ball but also for the parade. By Monday morning, they were sold out. - Politico
