DNC paid $900K to rent Bank of America stadium for cancelled convention speech

The host committee for the Democratic National Convention paid $896,000 to rent Bank of America Stadium for what was supposed to be the final night of last month’s convention, according to financial reports filed Wednesday by the Charlotte host committee. -Politico

Invesco Field in Denver cost $2.3M to rent in 2008.
