Opening a Tent

Party leaders, such as Gov. Jindal, are talking about being more inclusive. Can they do it? Can they mean it? They would really be able to debate issues if they're affected by any of them, such as taxes.

But will they?

Saw Saxby Chamblis has stated that he will no longer honor the Grover Norquist tax pledge. I think that is a good start, and a very positive one.

I think the solid tea party ones won't get it, but the real republicans will. Afterall, it's all about pandering. Many ran further right and towards the tea party positions because they were getting primaried. This year they saw some of those tea party types defeated so they are feeling more confident getting back to pandering to the people.....

pander maybe (0.00 / 0)
There's talk that Romney has left a vacuum in their party. I wonder if Gov. Jindal is maneuvering for that. He was pretty quiet after that wimpy address he gave 4 yrs. ago.
