| Minneapolis has a new video promoting its bid to host the 2012 Democratic Convention. The video gives 12 reasons why Minneapolis is the right choice. My favorites: #1, history, nice shots of Humphrey, Mondale, and Wellstone; #10, "Been there, done that" - conveniently ignoring the fact that the 2008 GOP convention was in St. Paul, not Minneapolis; and #12, Mayor Rybak: "We're ready - to help you - re-elect the President". |
