DCW has learned that Charlotte has submitted a bid to host the 2012 Democratic Convention. Charlotte joins Minneapolis and St. Louis as cities which have submitted bids to host the convention. We're still waiting to hear if Cleveland, Philadelphia or Phoenix actually submitted bids. The deadline to submit bids to the DNC was last Friday, May 21.
