| Now that we have our three finalists (Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Tampa Bay) and a date let's take a look at average temperatures around August 27th in each city. Salt Lake City: The average temperature is 88 degrees in August and 78 degrees in September. Tampa Bay: The average temperature is 90 degrees in August and 89 degrees in September.
