It looks like Lou Dobbs really IS running for something.

As WHAT is the question. Or perhaps "WHICH Lou Dobbs????"

From TPM:

In a little-noticed interview Friday, Mr. Dobbs told Spanish-language network Telemundo he now supports a plan to legalize millions of undocumented workers, a stance he long lambasted as an unfair "amnesty."

"Whatever you have thought of me in the past, I can tell you right now that I am one of your greatest friends and I mean for us to work together," he said in a live interview with Telemundo's Maria Celeste.

UNBELEIVABLE.

That has got to be the biggest flip-flop in recent memory. I cannot believe that Dobbs now thinks people should trust his new words after what his actions have proved over the years. May be he can explain a little more where this epiphany came from.

Let's see, up until a week or so ago, Lou Dobbs was a media personality who increased ratings by being controversial.

Now he is a potential Senate candidate in a state with a significant number of Hispanics.

The question is which is the real Lou Dobbs.

Just like most politicians, they kiss up to whoever they need to, to get elected. For years he has been the biggest mouth against illegal immigration. Guess that role will go to me now. ;o) I'm not a politician, have been against illegal immigration, for legal immigration and work programs (green cards, etc), and will never run for a politicians office. If I did, I would stay true to my beliefs, but make sure people knew that I would vote the constituents wishes, even f that was against my beliefs and that of the Party.
